Post 1: Server Administrator (Grade 'D')

• Age Limit (as on 01.10.2026): 25 to 33 years (Candidate must have been born between 02.10.1993 and 01.10.2001, both dates inclusive).
• Educational Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech in Electronics / Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent from a recognized University/Institution.
• Minimum Work Experience: Minimum 3 years of post-qualification work experience in a related field.
• Essential Skillset:
  • Hands-on experience in Linux Server Administration (RHEL or similar).
  • Elementary experience in Network Management (L3 Switch).
  • Certification from a recognized body in Linux or networking carries additional weightage.
• Desirable / Preferred Skills:
  • Server Virtualisation (HCI Nutanix / VMware)
  • Network Connectivity (MPLS, Leased Lines, Point-to-Point)
  • Firewall Management & Web Access Firewall (WAF)
  • Endpoint Security, Cybersecurity, Advance Threat Protection (ATP)

• Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks, preferably in:
  • Science / Commerce / Statistics / Mathematics / Economics
  • Computer Applications / IT / Data Analytics
  • Business Administration / Management
  • AND demonstrable computer proficiency with advanced working knowledge of MS Excel (including VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, nested formulas, Pivot Tables/Charts, Data Validation, Data Cleaning, and Power Query/Macros).
• Minimum Work Experience: Minimum 2 years of post-qualification work experience in:
  • Data validation, reconciliation, and verification
  • Handling large datasets and MIS reporting

• Penalty for Wrong Answers: There is a penalty of 0.25 (one-fourth) of the marks assigned to that question for every incorrect answer. Unanswered questions attract no penalty.
• Cut-Off Marks: Candidates must obtain a minimum qualifying score in each section as well as aggregate cut-offs decided by IBPS.
• Interview: Candidates qualifying in the online exam will appear for the Personal Interview immediately on the same day or the next day at IBPS Mumbai.

6. Service Agreement Bond

Selected candidates appointed as Server Administrator, Programming Assistant, or Assistant must execute a Service Agreement Bond of ₹1,00,000/- (Rupees One Lakh) at the time of joining. Under this agreement, the candidate must serve IBPS for a minimum period of 2 years from the date of joining, failing which the bond amount is payable to IBPS.

   • Live photo capture via webcam or mobile QR code scanner.
4. Upload Signature, Thumb Impression & Declaration:
   • Signature: Black ink on white paper, 10 KB – 20 KB (not in capital letters).
   • Left Thumb Impression: Black or blue ink, 20 KB – 50 KB (3 cm × 3 cm, 200 DPI).
   • Hand-written Declaration: In English, black ink, 50 KB – 100 KB.
