Exam Photo & Signature Resizer

Official photo and signature sizes for SSC, UPSC, IBPS, SBI, NEET and more.

SSC captures your photograph live while you fill the form, so there is no photo file to resize. Only the signature is uploaded.

Your photo is captured live

Captured live in the application form; no photo file is uploaded. Nothing to resize here; follow these official rules when the camera opens:

  • Captured live through a webcam or mobile camera in the application module, or through the mySSC app via the QR code on the Upload Documents page.
  • Taking a photo of an existing photograph leads to rejection.
  • Good light and a plain background; camera at eye level; look straight ahead, full frontal view.
  • Keep your face fully inside the area marked by the camera, neither too close nor too far.
  • No cap, mask or glasses/spectacles.
  • Your appearance at the exam must match the captured photo.

What you upload

SSC CGL doesn't take a photo file. Resize these instead:

Frequently asked questions

Where do these photo and signature sizes come from?

Each exam's sizes are taken from its own official notice or information bulletin. Every exam page links to that document and shows its date.

Is my photo uploaded to your server?

No. The tool runs entirely in your browser. Your photo, signature and thumb impression never leave your device.

Why is there no photo resizer for SSC exams?

SSC now captures the photograph live through a webcam or the mySSC app while you fill the form, so its notices give no photo file size. Only the signature (JPG, 10–20 KB, about 6.0 × 2.0 cm) is uploaded.

How does the tool hit the exact KB range?

It encodes a JPG and searches for the highest quality under the maximum. If a small image is still below the minimum, it adds harmless padding inside the JPG so the portal's lower limit is met without changing the picture.

My exam isn't listed. What should I do?

Choose “Custom size” in the exam menu and enter the pixel size and KB limits from your notice.
