Photograph rules
- Recent passport-style colour photograph.
- Light-coloured, preferably white, background.
- Look straight at the camera with a relaxed face; no harsh shadows or red-eye.
- Glasses only if there are no reflections and your eyes are clearly visible.
- Caps, hats and dark glasses are not acceptable; religious headwear is allowed if it doesn't cover the face.
Signature rules
- Sign on white paper with a black ink pen.
- The signature must not be in CAPITAL LETTERS.
- It must match the signature you give at the exam.
Left thumb impression rules
- Left thumb impression on white paper with black or blue ink.
Handwritten declaration rules
- Handwritten in English, in your own handwriting, on white paper with black ink.
- Not in CAPITAL LETTERS.
