4. Eligibility Criteria

4.1 Age Limit (as on 01.10.2026)

• Minimum Age: 21 Years
• Maximum Age: 30 Years
• Candidates must have been born not earlier than 02.10.1996 and not later than 01.10.2005 (both days inclusive).

Upper Age Relaxations:

• SC / ST: +5 Years (up to 35 years)
• OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): +3 Years (up to 33 years)
• PwBD: +10 Years
• Ex-Servicemen: 5 Years (as per government rules)
• Existing confirmed employees of PSU General Insurance Companies: As specified in the notification

4.2 Educational Qualification (as on 01.10.2026)

• Generalists: Graduate / Post Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University or equivalent with a minimum of 60% marks in either degree (55% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates).
• Finance: Chartered Accountant (ICAI) / Cost Accountant (ICMAI) OR B.Com / M.Com with minimum 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwBD) OR full-time MBA Finance / MMS Finance.
• Legal: Bachelor's Degree in Law (LL.B.) with minimum 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwBD) from a recognized University.
• Information Technology (IT): B.E. / B.Tech / M.E. / M.Tech in Computer Science / IT OR MCA with minimum 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwBD).
• Automobile Engineering: B.E. / B.Tech / M.E. / M.Tech in Automobile Engineering with minimum 60% marks.
• Risk Engineering: B.E. / B.Tech in Engineering (Civil / Mechanical / Chemical / Electrical) with minimum 60% marks.

5. Selection Process & Exam Pattern

The selection involves three successive phases:

Phase-II: Main Examination

The Main Examination consists of an Online Objective Test (200 Marks) and an Online Descriptive Test (30 Marks):

• Objective Test (200 Marks / 120 Minutes):
  • For Generalists: Reasoning (50), English (50), General Awareness (50), Quantitative Aptitude (50).
  • For Specialists: Reasoning (40), English (40), General Awareness (40), Quantitative Aptitude (40), and Professional Knowledge in the relevant discipline (40).
• Descriptive English Test (30 Marks / 30 Minutes): Essay, Précis, and Comprehension. (Qualifying in nature; evaluated only for candidates who clear the objective cut-off).

Phase-III: Personal Interview

Candidates who qualify the Main Examination are shortlisted for interview. The weightage of Online Main Examination to Interview is 80:20.

6. Salary, Scale of Pay & Benefits

• Cadre: Administrative Officer (Scale-I)
• Basic Pay: ₹82,485/- per month in the scale of ₹82485–4050(14)–139185–4390(4)–156745.
• Total Monthly Emoluments: Approximately ₹1,14,000/- per month in metropolitan cities.
• Additional Benefits: Defined Contributory Pension Scheme (NPS), Gratuity, LTS, Medical Benefits, Group Personal Accident Insurance, Leased Accommodation as per company eligibility rules.
• Probation & Guarantee Bond: Selected candidates serve a probation period of one year (extendable). Candidates are required to execute a service guarantee bond to serve the company for a minimum specified period.

2. Click on "Click here for New Registration" and enter basic personal details to generate a Provisional Registration Number and Password.
3. Fill in detailed academic qualifications, choose your cadre (Generalist or specific Specialist stream), and select exam centre preferences.
4. Upload photograph, signature, left thumb impression, and hand-written declaration in prescribed dimensions.
5. Pay the online application fee on or before 28 October 2026.
