Current official status — October 1, 2026: BSER has not announced a fresh REET 2026 notification, application form date or exam date in the official sources reviewed. The current official REET portal is still REET-2024, and it provides Result, REET Certificate, Final Answer Keys and Question Booklets.

The existing page previously mixed REET eligibility with a separate Rajasthan 3rd Grade Teacher Recruitment / Mains process. That is incorrect. This page now keeps the two processes separate.

5. Eligibility — Level-Specific, Not One-Line B.Ed/BSTC Rule

Level 1 — Classes 1 to 5

The previous notification includes multiple routes involving:

• Senior Secondary / equivalent with the prescribed marks and elementary teacher-education qualification;
• recognized Diploma in Elementary Education routes;
• four-year integrated elementary education routes;
• other qualification combinations permitted under the notification/NCTE framework.

Level 2 — Classes 6 to 8

The previous notification includes multiple routes involving:

• Graduation / Post-Graduation plus the prescribed teacher-education qualification;
• recognized B.Ed / integrated teacher-education pathways where applicable;
• subject and qualification combinations specified in the detailed notification.

Important Rule

Do not reduce Level 1 eligibility to “BSTC only” or Level 2 to “B.Ed only” without reading the active notification, because recognized routes and conditions are more detailed.

7. Language Selection Rules

The official notification requires candidates to choose Language I and Language II according to the permitted language options.

• Language I relates to the selected teaching-medium option.
• Language II must be different from Language I.

REET-2024 was an OMR-based written eligibility examination.

A recruitment cut-off from RSSB or another authority should not be labelled as a REET cut-off unless the source itself is specifically for REET.

A fresh 2026 REET qualifying rule should be added only when BSER publishes a fresh notification.

When a future REET notification is published:

1. Start from the official BSER REET link.
2. Confirm the exact notification number/year.
3. Check whether applying for Level 1, Level 2 or both.
4. Match the exact qualification route.

6. Select languages and Level 2 subject block carefully.
7. Upload the requested photograph/signature/documents.
8. Save the final application and fee receipt.

Do not use an old REET-2024 form link as if it were a new 2026 application.
