Organized by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), the CA Foundation is the formidable entry-level gateway establishing the base for the prestigious globally recognized CA qualification.
1. Execution Under the New Scheme
ICAI has transitioned entirely to the New Scheme of Education and Training.
- Total Papers: 4 Papers (400 Marks Total).
- Subjects Assessed: Accounting, Business Laws, Quantitative Aptitude, and Business Economics.
- Passing Hurdle: Candidates explicitly need to score at least exactly 40% natively out of each individual paper and uniformly secure a 50% cumulative aggregate out of the max limit to progress to the CA Intermediate level.
2. Exam Frequency
Currently, the examination rolls out multiple times securely across the year, most notably concentrated around:
