4. Comprehensive Eligibility Criteria

For Paper I (Primary Stage: Class I to V)

- Senior Secondary with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year D.El.Ed in accordance with the NCTE Regulations.
- Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
- Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
- Graduation with at least 50% marks and fundamentally holding a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree.
For Paper II (Elementary Stage: Class VI to VIII)
Candidates are eligible if they meet any of the following parameters:
- Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed).
- At least 50% marks either in Graduation or in Post-Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
- Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in a 1-year B.Ed in accordance with the NCTE rules.
- Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 4-year B.El.Ed.
- Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.
5. CTET Exam Pattern & Detailed Syllabus
