Frequently asked questions
How do I make a meme?
Choose a picture, type your text in the boxes, drag the text where you want it and press Download meme.
Does the meme have a watermark?
No. The file you download contains only your picture and your text.
Is my picture uploaded?
No. The meme is made in your browser and your picture never leaves your device.
Can I add more than two lines of text?
Yes. Press Add text as many times as you need and place each box on the picture.
Why does the font look different on my phone?
The classic meme font (Impact) is built into Windows and Mac but not every phone, so another bold font is used where it is missing. The preview shows exactly what will be saved.
What size is the downloaded meme?
It keeps your picture's size. Very large pictures are scaled down so the longest side is at most 1600 pixels.
